Cleveland Bluegrass Orchestra to perform Feb. 12

Music from The Western Reserves 34th season continues Feb. 12. Taking the stage is The Cleveland Bluegrass Orchestra.

Enjoy of evening of undiluted, genre-bending, toe tapping fun! If you believe that the world would be a better place with just a little bit more banjo and fiddle, then join us for an evening of fun.

The Cleveland Bluegrass Orchestra has been described as the most exclusive bluegrass ensemble in the world. To perform with this group, you first must be a member of The Cleveland Orchestra and you must be willing to play a different instrument.

The stars of this ensemble are Trina Struble, fiddle, Mark Dumm, banjo, Jeff Zehngut, mandolin and sax, Henry Peyrebrune, guitar and Derek Zadinsky, bass.

The Cleveland Bluegrass Orchestra's performance selections include your favorite bluegrass tunes and perhaps a piece two from Baroque composers played in bluegrass style!
