Among the 22 course choices scheduled throughout the day, there is a new and enlightening music course taught by Hudson resident Edward Wiles, an active performer, teacher and music director. He currently serves as organist/choir master for St. Phillip Episcopal Church in Columbus. This quarter at SAGE, he will be teaching a course on Movement/Metamorphosis in Music, exploring the world of movement and change in music as it continually evolves and grows in its scope. In this class students enjoy some live performance as well as lecture.
Other course topics include: Through the Eyes of the Artist, Evolving Spirituality, Living Religions, I Love the '60s, History and Review of the American Presidency: Monroe to Jackson, Eight Equations that changed the way we view the Universe, Book Lovers United, Emotions and Expression, An Introduction to Gandhi, American Gospel, The Second World War, Philosophy of Gardening and more.
This all-day program schedules in two Chair Yoga Brakes, providing exercise to stimulate circulation after long periods of sitting, and a catered- to-order lunch period delivered by local restaurants.
